Gas
Gas is one of the most common problems faced by people today, especially those working in stressful jobs, under tight schedules. The reasons for the problem can be acid stomach, spicy foods, swallowing too much air while eating, stresses that produce an acidic reaction, and so on. Apart from that, there may be other causes for appearance of air pockets in the gastrointestinal system. As gas builds up in the body, it applies pressure in the stomach, ultimately leading to pain.
What Causes Gas Pains?

Exercise

There are exercises that will relieve the pain. One is called the duck walk. You simply crouch down bending at the waist and knees and then waddle like a duck. A few minutes of this should do the trick. Another exercise, often recommended for stretching out the spine as well, involves rolling forward and backward.

Diet

There are some foods that will calm gas pains. Try eating a bland diet to avoid acid stomach or have something from the following lists to relieve the annoyance of pressure that has occurred. Some of the best examples are creamed soups, tapioca pudding, and cooked or canned bananas, milk or apple juice.

Lactose intolerance can also cause a higher than normal production of gases. If you find yourself having gas issues after eating dairy products, it could be because your body is unable to break down the lactose found in dairy.

How To Get Rid Of Bloating

I suffer from abdominal bloating quite a bit because I choose to ignore my dietary needs. This poses two problems: first, my stomach tends to rumble a lot, and second, I’m killing myself slowly with high sodium content ramen noodles and lactose. I can’t drink milk or I bloat like a Thanksgiving float with a flatulence issue. The same goes for spicey food.

Tips For Get rid Of Gas

Get moving after you eat a meal. This helps aid the digestion process and works the foods through the intestinal system. Certain exercises that involve crouching, bending at the waist and stretching the spine forward and backward help to relieve the pain of gas that has built up inside.

See your doctor if these remedies don’t help get rid of intestinal gas and you are still experiencing an unusual amount of gas.

Avoid drinking any beverages from a straw as you suck in air with the fluids adding to belly aches.

Take medications. There are several over the counter drugs that can help you control or get rid of your excess gas. For the lactose intolerant, the enzyme lactase is available in caplet form and chewable tablet form. You don’t need a prescription to get it. Lactrase and Lactaid are the two most common brands that contain lactase.
